Specialty Density Index

See the gaps in your area.

Specialty Density Index is a free app built by Premark Lab, that shows therapists how saturated their local market is for each specialization, helping them identify underserved niches and reduce competition.

When a patient searches for a therapist in your city, they don’t scroll for long. The first few profiles get the clicks and the calls. Everyone else gets buried. That decision is based on your categories, services, photos, activity, and whether Google can find matching information about your business across the internet.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give you my Psychology Today login?

No. We deliver the content as a PDF file and you copy and paste it into the relevant sections of your profile. Takes a few minutes and gives you full control over what gets published.

What sections of my Psychology Today profile do you rewrite?

The full profile. Your introduction, your finish/closing, your specialties, your areas of focus, and your tagline. We also review your photos, video setup, and the consistency of your contact information against your wider online presence.

How is this different from just hiring a copywriter?

A copywriter writes what sounds good. We write what we know works for your specific patient. A copywriter writes for the page. We write for the person reading it.

Does Psychology Today still matter?

Yes. It's still one of the highest traffic directories patients use to find a therapist. Even if a patient finds you through Google or another source, they often check your Psychology Today profile before booking.

If that profile contradicts what they read elsewhere, or feels generic, you lose them. Optimizing it makes sure every place a patient sees you reinforces the same clear answer to "is this the right person for me?"
